The Best Integrated Pull-out Bins for 600mm-wide Cabinets
If you have a family or simply want to avoid taking the bins out too often, a 600mm cabinet is the ideal size to ensure you can install some of the largest capacity in-cupboard bins we have.
Built-in bins can be retro-fitted into an existing kitchen, or planned in at the design stage, and our customers love the transformative effect they can have in hiding away copious amounts of recycling and waste.
We have a great choice of 600mm bins for pull-out doors and drawers, All are top quality German products which should stand up to years of use in your kitchen, with steel soft-close runner systems and a choice of recycling configurations so you can separate your recyclables and waste to suit your needs.
These are our most popular bins for 600mm cabinets, explained by brand:
WESCO: Full cabinet height
From Wesco we have two extra large 84 litre bins. The 827642-11 has two huge 42L inner buckets, the largest inner bins available.
The 827618-11 has two 32L buckets plus two 10L ones. To help visualise these capacities, the 32L Wesco bucket is 53cm tall and the 42L is 50cm tall (45cm wide), so at around half a metre high these are great capacity buckets. With two hidden in your cabinet, this represents enough capacity for a family and for a smaller household would mean fewer trips to the wheelie bins. It’s not surprising that these are two of our most popular in-cupboard bins.
A new product from Wesco is based on the sleek Blum Legrabox ‘drawer’ system in dark Orion Grey. This is the Wesco Pullboy-Z Legrabox Set 80L which has an extra sleek, minimal look to the design and is smart whether you have Legrabox drawers in the rest of the kitchen, or just want a smart bin. We offer this product complete with the soft-close runners, drawer and bins and the two 40L containers come with individual lids (there is no overall cabinet-wide lid on this model).
Another of our most popular bins, the Wesco 828614-11, also features two of the 32L buckets. This product is significant because it is 576mm high but instead of the standard 500mm depth, it is 450mm deep making it a great choice for customers with pipework or a reduced depth cabinet.
Bins with a height of 576mm take up much of the height of a standard cabinet, but the lids on both Wesco and Vauth-Sagel bins are strong enough to use as a shelf for liners, papers etc so the space at the top of your cabinet is not wasted. The bins can also be fitted high up in the cabinet (as long as the weight on the door is balanced), for easy access from the worktop.
WESCO: Below drawer height
The choice of bins to fit in a 600mm cabinet below a drawer includes the 827616-11 which is 471mm high and has 72L of capacity across 4 buckets. For even lower fitting heights, the 827608-11 is 400mm high, meaning you could fit its 4 buckets with total 60L capacity below shelves or potentially a sink installation. A great pull-out option for 600mm sink units is the 829603-11N which is just 335mm high and 400mm deep, so it should clear pipework in most sink installations.
VAUTH-SAGEL: Full cabinet height
Vauth-Sagel is another German manufacturer with typically solid build quality, a sleek contemporary look and unique innovations including an ‘easy-fit’ soft-close runner system included in the price.
Vauth-Sagel Envi Space XX Pro bins for 600mm cabinets use the full height of the cabinet with lids which are fixed to the cabinet sides, still giving you extra storage space for liners. papers etc. Vauth-Sagel bins have the advantage of handles and extra strong durable plastic construction. There are two different sizes for a 600mm cabinet, based on the fitting depth:
The VS Envi Space 85L XX Pro S has a large capacity made up of two 32 litre and one 21 litre inner buckets. This triple bin is 570mm high, meaning that it fits close to the top of the cabinet in most installations. It’s 476mm deep so will fit most standard cabinets.
If you have an extra deep cabinet you can make the most of this space with the new VS Envi Space 91L XX Pro D which is 515mm deep, and has two 35 litre buckets and one 21 litre bucket.
Both the 85L and 91L models are now available in a choice of Silver Grey or new Lava Grey, which is a warm slate colour matched across the steel and plastic parts.
VAUTH-SAGEL: Below drawer height
VS Envi Space Pro bins are all 470mm high and 470mm deep, and have lids which pull out independently of the bin for improved access and to create an extra shelf in your cabinet. They can be fitted below a drawer and are also ideal if you don’t have a 500mm deep cabinet or have pipework or a thicker back panel taking up depth. The VS Envi Space Pro 53L 600-3 has triple containers - one 28L bucket and two of 12.5 L. Two double-container models are the VS Envi Space Pro 56L 600-2 (two 28L buckets) and the Envi Space Pro 60L 600-2 (39L and 21L, useful if you create more recycling than waste or vice versa).
HAILO: Full cabinet height
Hailo in-cupboard products are very strongly built with extra durable inner containers. The range includes some useful configurations:
For a full height cabinet with a minimum of 530mm depth, the Hailo Euro Cargo 90L has two large 35L containers, plus a 12L one complete with lid and an additional small container.
HAILO: Below drawer height
For mid height installations, at 439mm, there are two models which also have a fitted depth of 450mm which can prove useful to fit where there is plumbing or simply less than standard depth available. Hailo Euro Cargo-S 60L has two 30L bins and the triple Hailo Euro Cargo 56L has one 30L and two 13L bins, one complete with a lid so good for food waste.
For very low height installations, at 375mm, Hailo have created two models which are among the few in cupboard bins available to make the most of such limited height, such as under a sink, and a shallow depth of 450mm. The triple Hailo Cargo Soft 53L has three inner bins of 28, 15 and 10L, and the Hailo Euro Cargo Soft 56L has two 28L bins.
Blanco in-cupboard bins are all designed at lower heights with the intention of working below sink installations, but they are also great if you simply don’t need a large capacity. The Select bins in the range come with either two or three compartments and a steel lid which pulls out over the bins as a useful extra shelf with easy access.
The Select Orga bins in the range are based on the Select base bin units and then have a unique addition of an organiser drawer included with the set, which slides out independently over the bins and also acts as a bin cover. This makes use of the spare space above the bin and the drawer has a square central indentation intended to work around a sink waste.
