This neat slimline EKO sensor kitchen bin is great for tight spaces. At a space-efficient 25cms wide and 62 cms tall, it contains a good size 30L inner bucket. The brushed fingreprint proof stainless steel body and butterly opening lid make this a very elegant bin. The sensor opening butterfly lid, opens from the centre and does so with a wave of your hand. Once you have finished it closes quietly after you leave. It has stay-open capability for easy liner changing. You can also operate the lid with buttons on the front panel.
Please note, like most sensor bins, it is not suitable for placing completely underneath standard countertops - just ensure the front panel is not covered by the worktop. The bin requires a minimum of 50cm of space above it to avoid triggering the opening mechanism. Shelves or wall cabinets etc over 50cm higher than the bin will be fine.
The smart fingerprint-proof Stainless steel body and lid resist marking.
The sensor is battery operated requiring 6 AA batteries (not supplied) - note these provide around 20,000 open/close cycles.
