This dual compartment rectangular recycling bin from Simplehuman opens with the sound of your voice or a wave of your hand. Just say, "open can" or wave your hand in front of the sensor and the lid opens automatically, so throwing rubbish away is quick, efficient and hands-free (great for when cooking!). Two compartments, one of 34 Litres and the other 24 Litres make it easy to neatly sort your rubbish and recyclables in one convenient, space-efficient place. The rose gold body and lid is paired with stainless steel lid edging and pedal, and a true black base. This bin will enhance any kitchen or office.

On one side there is a 34 Litre compartment for use with a Simplehuman H liner which is dispensed from the innovative 'liner pocket' that stores and dispenses liners from inside the bin for a faster liner change. The other side has a 24 Litre conventional plastic bucket with a metal handle for easy lifting. The overall lid lifts up for easy removal of the liner and bucket and the deep rim neatly hides the liner out of sight.
You can use a liner in both compartments - and those in the know can convert this to a 68 Litre recycler by removing the blue plastic bucket and just using the H liners in both compartments.
Voice Activation: This allows you to open the bin by saying 'open can', and the lid will open automatically.
Bin Sensor: Wave your hand in front of the infrared sensor and the lid opens automatically.
Whisper Quiet: The lid has a whisper quiet action at only 52db, one of the quietest available.
Nano-Silver Clear Coat: Protects the Black Steel finish from fingerprints and germs.
Mains or battery operated: The bin can be powered by the plug-in power adapter (included) or 6 AA alkaline batteries (not supplied).
Liners: Simplehuman Code H (CW0258) liners are designed to fit this bin perfectly and are extra strong to prevent leaks and tears. The Liner Pocket stores liners and dispenses them one at a time for easy changing.
