Vauth-Sagel in cupboard kitchen bins

Simple to fit, premium quality and great capacity: Vauth-Sagel integrated kitchen bins can revamp and refresh your kitchen, keeping the hub of the home neat and organised.

Our Vauth-Sagel in-cupboard bins for pull-out doors are a sleek, chic way to turn a cabinet into a hidden recycling bin. An integrated bin can have a transformative effect on your kitchen, freeing up floor space and keeping the waste and recycling neatly out of sight. Getting the right mix of function and style in the hardest working room in the house is important and a built-in bin is a simple-to-fit addition.

Vauth-Sagel design and produce parts for Audi, Lamborghini, BMW and Volkswagen and also provide the accessories for top of the range SieMatic kitchens. When you see which other businesses they partner with, it makes perfect sense that Vauth-Sagel products are of premium quality and also full of innovative design features.

The Pull-out door bins feature:

A unique system of 'easy-fit' soft-close side runners for the bins, which are strong steel panels quickly fitted using clear fitting instructions and drilling templates.

Runners, frames and lids made in heavy gauge steel which is triple coated in a sleek platinum coloured finish: extra tough, corrosion resistant and stylish to look at. Vauth-Sagel manufacture both steel and plastic parts and this ensures that the inner buckets are strong and also a perfect seamless fit into their frame.

Handles on the inner bins with angled corners which align closely together to form a frame around the bins and stop small pieces falling down  between the buckets. The handles are particularly strong when lifted up to take the weight of the bin contents. Liners can be fitted around the tops of the bins and held in place with the handles.

Minimal and sleek styling which compliments contemporary kitchen designs, but of course the bins can fit into a cabinet of any design and create a hidden recycling bin with smooth functionality in any cupboard.

Choose the right bin for your cabinet

Start by measuring the width

on the outside of the door. We have products for 300, 400, 450, 500 or 600mm cabinet widths. The width of the products themselves is based on the external cabinet width minus 2 x the thickness of the carcass material, which is usually between 16-19mm as standard. This means that for example a bin for a 600mm cabinet will measure 562-568mm wide, and take up the total width of the inside of the cabinet.

Then check the height

you have available for a bin. If you have most of the height of the cabinet free, you can fit the XXLiner bins which are the tallest at 570mm high when installed. These tall bins have a steel lid which is fixed to the cabinet sides and if it is around 10cm lower than the worktop, you'll still have enough space to use it as a shelf for liners etc.

Alternatively if you have a drawer above the bin, or if it's below the sink, look at the Oko Liner range which are 470mm high. These Oko liner bins have a lid on sliding runners which can be pulled out independently over the bins to act as a useful shelf. The lid is shown in action in the video on the product page.

Check the depth

you have for the bin: the standard depths taken up by the Vauth-Sagel bins is 470mm (Oko Liner range) or 476mm (some of the XXLiner range), both a great fit for 500mm deep cabinets.

New to our Vauth-Sagel range are bins for deeper cabinets, needing 515mm depth. These are the XXLiner 91L bin for 600mm cabinets, and the two slimline XXLIner bins for 300mm and 400mm cabinets.

How many compartments do you need?

The final decision to make in choosing your bin is the configuration of inner 'buckets' that will be best for your needs. There are double and triple versions available, and you can also consider the idea of combining a double in-cupboard bin with a Joseph Joseph Stack 4 food waste caddy to create a triple recycling solution.

Vauth-Sagel Integrated bins are designed to fit the maximum capacity into your cabinet space, spread across two or three inner bins, so that you can sort and store your recycling and waste quickly and easily. If we can help with any more information on these fantastic products, or you want to check if they will fit your cupboard, just call or email with your dimensions and we'll work it out and confirm the best product for you.
