Binopolis wins prestigious Feefo award recognising 10 years of exceptional service

We’ve got some exciting news to share – we’ve won the first ever 10 Years of Excellence Award as part of the Feefo Trusted Service Awards 2024!   This coveted award is given only to companies that deliver time and time again for their customers and place them at the heart of what they do – for 10 years in a row. It’s the first Trusted Service Award of this kind and it’s based solely on the reviews and ratings that Binopolis has achieved, so it’s a true testament to our customer service standards. From the outset of creating Binopolis in 2014, we made a commitment to treat our customers as we would want to be treated ourselves. The award recognises our sustained efforts in consistently good service, helpful customer interaction, effectiveness at dealing with any problems and genuine engagement with customers over the past decade. We couldn’t have done it without you, our customers, so we’d like to thank everyone who has shared your feedback and ratings with Feefo. We continue to be committed to listening to, understanding and responding to your feedback, and delivering the highest quality of service.     Our Feefo Award comes at a time of TV reports about the increase in fake customer reviews which can be paid for. The important difference with our review system is that our feedback is genuine, because only customers who have bought their bin from us are asked if they would like to leave a review. A Competition and Markets Authority report exposed the 'trade' in fake reviews and this has helped businesses like us which treat their customers with honesty and respect. Feefo itself issued a statement: “Binopolis uses Feefo – the Global Feedback Engine, to generate customer feedback. Feefo is a closed invitation only platform, thus guaranteeing every single review they receive is matched to a genuine customer who has transacted with them.' We value our Feefo reviews not just because they let us know when we're doing things right, but also because they highlight areas which we can improve for customers. Through our genuine customer feedback, we've made changes to our delivery systems, continually updated our already detailed product information and added new products, based on what customers have told us. So we're very happy to continue hearing your genuine feedback and comments. The only thing we do ask is to get in touch with us directly and straight away if you want to find out about a delivery or if a product is not what you were expecting. This is the quickest way to start the process of putting things right. You may have needed to use a review to prompt action with other businesses because there is no easily available customer services contact. At Binopolis, we value talking to our customers and are always ready to answer questions, offer advice and sort things out when they're not perfect.  Of course the Feefo reviews ask customers about their products as well as the service they’ve received. Because we only choose top quality products and set out as much information as we can to help customers choose the right product, our Product reviews are also excellent, with an overall Feefo rating of 4.9 out of 5. Examples of some of our products with Top reviews are The Vauth-Sagel ES-Pro 3-Compartment 85L Recycler - Lava Grey: 600mm Door, which has consistently received 5 out of 5 stars with comments including “Quality German engineering which works beautifully”, “Outstanding quality of material and workmanship” and “Very satisfied as product was exactly what I required”. The Vauth-Sagel ES-Pro 2-Compartment 88L Recycler - Lava Grey: 600mm Door - 476mm Deep: also receives 5 out of 5 stars with customers setting out exactly why they’re happy with their product: “Great bin, really good quality and offers a capacity that is hard to find in freestanding units. I bought a dual 44 litre (88 litre capacity in total bin)., Really happy with the purchase and the fitting template was excellent”, and “Exactly as described by Binopolis”. With over 1,900 Five Star reviews including some which expand on the service which customers have received: “Jane was super in taking me through the various options and what would fit the best. She was very knowledgeable and she spent the time for the best solution. And, the product was delivered next day”. And some reviews really sum up why customers buy from us “Easy to navigate website with all the information needed to make the correct choice.  Super fast delivery, very well packaged.  Superb, great quality item”. Eco-Friendly Kitchen Bins: Sustainable Recycling (Binopolis)

Looking for eco-friendly kitchen bins that make separating waste a breeze? At Binopolis, we understand the importance of sustainability. That's why we offer a wide range of eco-friendly kitchen bins designed to help you manage your waste efficiently and responsibly. Our bins are not only practical and stylish, but also manufactured with the environment in mind. Since Binopolis was founded in 2014 we’ve taken climate considerations seriously, bringing you an extensive range of recycling bins to make separating waste more efficient and sustainable whilst enhancing your kitchen. We aim to select products that are manufactured in an environmentally conscious manner with post-life recycling or reuse plans. The high quality of our products means that they should last for many years, so you can buy well with us. Amongst our brands we have some of the most environmentally conscious manufacturers of bins. For example Brabantia has Official B Corp certification, recognised for positive impact on people and the environment. and in line with their goal of moving towards 100% circular design by 2035. All of the Brabantia products we sell have been awarded Cradle-to-Cradle certification, which assesses products on their material quality and recycling, the use of renewable energy in the production as well as how carbon emissions are managed in the process. Of our in-cupboard bin manufacturers, all are top quality manufacturers and so their products will provide many years of excellent service, parts are usually available for our customers if needed to refresh or repair a product, and this avoids the practice of built-in obsolescence which is still all too common in some manufacturing. As a great example Vauth-Sagel manufacture all parts at their own sites in Germany, which means that they control all materials and processes, using a high proportion of recycled materials, recycling off cuts back into the tooling process, using solvent free powder coating instead of paint and have ensured that every part of their bin units which we sell are 100% recyclable at end of use.  If I buy a bin from Binopolis how do I contribute to the environment? If you buy a recycling bin from Binopolis and use it to separate out your recyclable materials from your waste, then if you continue this separation into the various outside bins from your own local authority recycling scheme, you are already making a meaningful contribution to producing some material for effective recycling and re-use. To further our environmental commitment we’ve partnered with Greenspark which means that for every order you place with us, you make your contribution to three real-life and highly effective initiatives.  Firstly you’ll help fund the planting of one tree through Eden Reforestation Projects; secondly you’ll help collect two plastic bottles through Plastic Bank, who place a value on plastic waste by setting up recycling systems in coastal communities; and thirdly you’ll support offsetting of 10 kgs of C02 through community initiatives such as funding new cookstoves and clean energy generation.  Which environmental initiatives does Binopolis support? Plant TreesNearly 75% of the earth’s surface has been altered and impacted by human activity, including deforestation which is a fundamental risk for nearly 1.6 billion people worldwide who depend on forests for their livelihood. Every tree you plant when buying your bin from us helps to employ local communities to plant trees, empowering them to earn wages and benefit from growing crops, all within the aim of alleviating extreme poverty through local environmental management. Reforestation not only restores the natural environment for people and animals but also allows for food production and can restore correct weather patterns and reduce flooding. The project we contribute to, Eden Reforestation, has planted over 500 million trees since 2005, with around 20 million new trees hand planted each month. Rescue PlasticToday, over 5 trillion pieces of plastic litter our seas. The project we contribute to is called Plastic Bank which pays local people in coastal communities to collect plastic waste, which is sorted, weighed and exchanged for digital tokens that can be exchanged for basic necessities such as groceries and cooking fuel, but also for things which we take for granted such as school tuition. The collected material is reborn as Social Plastic® which can be easily reintegrated into products and packaging as part of a closed-loop supply chain. By making a contribution to rescuing plastic you are helping to build ethical recycling ecosystems in these communities while at the same time creating positive opportunities to earn and improve living standards for the people who collected it. Offset CarbonBy buying from Binopolis you are helping to support the world's best accredited climate solutions. Our carbon offsetting projects include community initiatives such as funding new cookstoves in a project which helps rural households in Malawi to change from using traditional cooking fires (with poor safety and health impacts) to using cleaner, energy-efficient cookstoves. Each year, this reduces the use of wood for burning by an average of 100 bundles of wood per cookstove, which is equivalent to around 2.5 tonnes of carbon emissions. We also contribute to clean energy generation including wind and hydroelectric power in poorer communities. Each project is certified by leading standards such as the Verified Carbon Standard and the United Nations.   Our impact so far We’ve been partnering with Greenspark since July 2023 and already our customers have helped us to achieve these positive impacts so far in only 9 months: We’ve achieved 25.61 tonnes of CO2 offsets which is equivalent to: 78,524 Miles driven in the average car. 25.32 Years worth of carbon savings from plant-based living. We’ve collected 6,326 plastic bottles, equivalent to: 253,040 Straws worth of plastic removed from landfill. 31,630 Disposable coffee cups worth of plastic saved from landfill. We’ve planted 2,573 trees equivalent to: 1.27 hectare of forest area planted. 29.228 tonnes of potential CO2 sequestered per year. You can follow our impacts as they build through our supported projects here and thank you for contributing to these incredibly important initiatives by buying your bin from us. You’ll also have bought well when choosing our sustainable and durable products, which help you to recycle effectively and make an impact through your own household recycling.

ECO in-cupboard bins: maximise your cabinet space and match your bins to your recycling scheme

The kitchen bin is used an average of 32 times a day in family life and is key to keeping the kitchen neat and organised. Now with the added demands of dealing with the the recycling, without cluttering the kitchen space, integrated in-cupboard bins offer an effective solution to the separation and storage of food waste, recyclables and general waste, all in one stylish and durable unit hidden away in a cabinet. Why choose an ECO in-cupboard bin? The beautifully effective ECO range is a superb choice to add to your kitchen, robustly built from the best quality components, and specifically designed to maximise the internal cabinet space, creating some unique configurations of compartments.  Across the ECO range, which has models for 400, 450, 500 and 600mm wide base units, the models respond to frequent requests from our customers for a neat, built-in bin solution to the growing need to separate food waste. More local authorities are adding food waste to their recycling collections and customers can no longer put the food waste in with the normal rubbish. If you’re lucky enough to have space for a compost heap or bin it’s also useful to be able to separate and hide away the food waste in the kitchen before taking it outside. As an example some of the ECO models include a caddy with lid which can be stored in the top of one of the main bin containers, creating a 3-compartment bin solution in the same cabinet space normally used for two bins. Other models include an 8 litre container with a Bio filter lid.  What do our Customers Say? One of our latest Feefo customer reviews for the ECO 82L model gives the product 5 stars and says “The choice of the bin inserts is very good, allowing you to tailor your purchase to your precise requirements. The quality of the item is excellent and you certainly get what you pay for. Very pleased.” What Models are in the ECO Range? ECO models are available for cabinets with pull-out doors from 400 to 600mm wide. All need a minimum fitting depth (from the back of the door to the back panel or wall) of 503mm. Here is a brief description of the models:  ECO in-cupboard bins for 400mm pull-out door cabinets (internal width 362-364mm)  There are two models for a 400mm cabinet:  ECO 2-Compartment 46L Recycler with Food Caddy: 400mm Door. This two compartment in-cupboard recycling bin has one extra large 42 litre compartment and has a separate 4.2 litre food caddy. The food caddy can be stored in the top of the bin or on the counter top. ECO 2-Compartment 40L Recycler: 400mm Door. This model has one large 32 Litre and one smaller 8 litre compartment, ideal for food waste because it comes with its own Bio-Filter lid to minimise any odours. ECO in-cupboard bins for 450mm pull-out door cabinets (internal width 412-414mm) ECO 3-Compartment 68L Recycler with Food Caddy: 450mm Door. This 3 compartment bin has two large 32 litre bins plus a 4.2 litre food caddy with lid, which hooks over the side of one of the bins and can be used on the worktop. ECO in-cupboard bins for 500mm pull-out door cabinets (internal width 462-464mm) ECO 3-Compartment 68L Recycler with Food Caddy: 500mm Door. This 3 compartment bin provides two large 32 litre bins and also a 4.2 litre food caddy with lid, which be used on the worktop and stored in the top of one of the 32L containers. ECO in-cupboard bins for 600mm pull-out door cabinets (internal width 562-564mm) There are three models to choose from for a 600mm cabinet: ECO 3-Compartment 82L Recycler: 600mm Door. The unique 82 litre model has been created to provide a solution for a very common set of recycling needs: the largest bin for recyclables, a large bin for waste and a caddy for food waste. To mirror this set of needs, the ECO 82L model has one extra large 42 litre bin, one large 32 litre bin and 8 litre container complete with a well-fitting lid incorporating a coir fibre filter to absorb odours. ECO 3-Compartment 88L Recycler with Food Caddy: 600mm Door. This model provides 88 litres of waste and recycling space in two extra large 42 Litre compartments and comes with a separate 4.2 litre food caddy. The food caddy has a lid and can be stored in the top of one of the bins or on the counter top. ECO 4-Compartment 80L Recycler: 600mm Door. This model has two large 32 litre bin compartments plus two 8 litre bins, one of which comes with a Bio filter lid so is ideal for food waste. Who makes the ECO range of bins? ECO has been created using best elements from two leading European manufacturers: Ninka bins from Germany and Blum runner technology from Austria. Ninka's inner bin containers are particularly durable in thick plastic with strong double handles containing glass fibre, and Blum’s world leading Blumotion soft-close runners combine load strength with smooth running and silent closing. How do you fit an ECO bin? The careful design of the ECO range extends to thoughtful simplification of the fitting process: all models are supplied with the steel side panels and frame already assembled, ready to simply slide onto the soft-close runners. At Binopolis we provide thorough fitting notes for our customers buying the ECO bins and whether you’re a good DIY-er or in the kitchen trade, you’ll find the ECO bins quick and efficient to fit. Can ECO bins work with hands-free opening? The ECO bins are supplied with top quality Blum sift-close runners meaning that even the largest capacity bins will pull out easily, and will run smoothly when you give them a light push to close, softly completing the last few cm of the closure of the door. So if your cabinet has a central handle or J-groove to pull open you’re door, you’re all set to turn your cabinet into a soft-closing bin unit. If you’d like hands-free opening for your cabinet, all ECO models offer the opportunity to add some optional hands free opening systems, including a pedal and electronic opening which work with nearly all cabinets. Additionally some ECO models, including the 82L for 600 cabinet, can be used in conjunction with the Blum Servo-Drive electric opening system, which needs more depth at the rear of the cabinet behind the runners: a minimum depth of 523mm is required. Take a look at the door opening systems here on Binopolis Make your kitchen recycling easier by installing one of our ECO bins - see the full selection here.

9 Essential Features for a Modern Kitchen

Unsurprisingly, the kitchen is often one of the first rooms homeowners look to renovate or refresh as it is a space where we spend so much of our time doing so many different things. We cook, eat, clean, work and socialise in this central hub, so it must be a space that is designed with functionality at the forefront. These days, there are countless modern kitchen appliances, gadgets and design choices that help you make the most of your space, but which are absolute essentials? Here are some of our favourite practical ways to ensure your kitchen can perform all its functions at its best. Embracing Organised Kitchen Design One of the most important things for any modern kitchen is organisation. Is there enough space for everything you need and is it all easily accessible? Embracing the right design features and other smart storage solutions is integral to ensuring you can keep your counters clutter-free and kitchen safe while making sure everything is still on-hand for when you need it. A well-planned kitchen will have practicality at its core and will consider the best ways cabinets and storage units can be organised in accordance with the dimensions of the space and how each area is going to be used. Many of the following features have been stated as kitchen essentials that people couldn’t live without, according to recent industry research, so may prove to be just the things your kitchen is missing! 1. Clever Kitchen Storage Ideas Smart kitchen storage doesn’t stop with a couple of shelves. In fact, there are numerous ways you can make the most of every inch of available space. Custom storage solutions for awkward corners or recesses can be helpful; corner storage units that swing out to provide easy access, for instance, are incredibly popular. Many also find that they cannot do without organisational cutlery inserts that help you store utensils and other accessories uniformly, ensuring everything is on clear display to save you from having to dig through everything until you find what you need. 2. Integrated In-Cupboard Kitchen Bins Claiming another top spot on the list of people’s priorities when creating an organised, functional kitchen are in-cupboard kitchen bins. At Binopolis, we’re certainly no strangers to the benefits of integrated bins and have seen how they’ve only continued to increase in popularity as people seek the best possible storage options for their homes. In-cupboard recycling bins help free up floor space and keep waste hidden to provide a sleek, clean look for your kitchen. No matter if your cabinets have pull-out or hinged doors, you’ll be able to find a bin that suits your capacity and dimension requirements. Opting for an in-cupboard bin is one of the best ways to maximise your storage capabilities. 3. Pan Drawers Pan drawers are yet another useful storage solution as they are often the most practical way to store your pots and pans. They can also make good alternatives to full-size cabinets when considering where to put your hidden bin. Pan drawer bins can be incredibly handy for a kitchen of any size. Bins for pan drawers tend to be smaller in capacity than bins for full-height units – this can be ideal for people who don’t throw away as much waste but still want several recycling options or don’t have a suitable full-height cabinet to turn into a bin. 4. Under-Cabinet Kitchen Lighting Good lighting is essential for both the overall feel and ambience of your kitchen and its level of functionality. Under-cabinet lighting looks especially appealing, bringing a warm glow and brightness to even the darkest corners. It also illuminates countertops more effectively than general overhead lighting, so you can more comfortably prepare and cut food or perform other tasks. Incorporating different layers of lighting (general, task and mood) is beneficial as it creates a more depth and atmosphere, making your kitchen a more pleasant space to spend time in. 5. Dedicated Kitchen Larder Cupboards Full-size larders or separate pantry cupboards offer all the room you need to store food, but dedicating enough space for a traditional walk-in larder is unrealistic for many, especially in smaller kitchens. This is why built-in or pull-out pantry cupboards are ideal – they give you all the storage options you need while being seamlessly integrated into the rest of your kitchen cabinet layout. Many modern pull-out pantries will have clever food storage methods that make the most of vertical space, ideal for narrow but deep cabinets. 6. Separate Utility Rooms or Cupboards Cleaning is yet another task the kitchen must help us perform, and ensuring there is storage for cleaning suppliers and laundry utilities is a must for many homeowners. Having a separate room connecting to the kitchen that houses the washing machine and tumble dryer is a luxury that many may not have. But this does not mean you cannot make completing laundry and cleaning tasks an easier process. Just as waste and recycling bins can be added to kitchen cabinets, so too can laundry bins. Built-in laundry bins give you a more convenient place to store your dirty or clean laundry, helping to keep you more organised. 7. Kitchen Backsplashes as a Focal Point Backsplashes, whether you go for tile, glass or metal, are incredibly useful for helping you maintain a clean and sleek-looking kitchen. They are easy to wipe clean and provide a great opportunity for you to play with colour and patterns. If you choose a particularly bold or vibrant colour, your backsplash can become a stylish focal point which you can match with or contrast against other kitchen appliances. For example, a red backsplash paired with a red bin or kettle in an otherwise minimally-coloured kitchen can provide an especially eye-catching effect. Alternatively, freestanding bins in neutral colours such as beige, grey and white can blend into your interior for a more subtle look. If you want to embrace this idea in your home, explore our range of coloured bins. 8. Energy-Efficient Kitchen Appliances No more than ever, it’s important to invest in energy-efficient kitchen appliances that help you save money and incorporate more eco-friendly technologies in the long run. Although it can be tempting to update your kitchen with all the latest gadgets, it is often best to restrict your purchases to the things you actually need and the appliances that are suited to your space. This ensures you don’t waste space or energy. Kitting your kitchen out in efficient, energy-saving appliances also helps future-proof your home and makes sure functionality remains a top priority. 9. A Lack of Clutter The core tenets of functionality and practicality means that everything has a place in a modern, well-thought-out kitchen. Incorporating plenty of smart storage solutions removes the need to store pots, pans or utensils on countertops and helps reduce visual clutter. When workspaces and dining tables are clear of clutter, they can function at their best for their intended purpose. Having less ‘stuff’ can also help create a more peaceful space, making it more enjoyable to spend time in. How you design your kitchen will largely depend on personal preference and how you want your space to look and feel. But for most people, embracing clever storage solutions and other functional essentials is how they will get the most out of their kitchen. If you are considering incorporating an in-cupboard bin into your kitchen as a way to maximise your waste storage, you can read our extensive selection of guides and product highlights to see which bin may be right for you. You can also get in touch with the Binopolis team if you have any queries, and we will point you to the right product.

Kitchen recyclers with multi-compartments also have the added bonus of making recycling and sorting waste more convenient. The top 30L compartment is ideal for general waste or recycling and also includes a removable 3L food waste caddy that can be emptied easily and stored on countertops if needed. The second 30L compartment is on a set of wheels and functions as a drawer that can be easily removed from the main unit (see the image below) and held back in place with a magnetic catch to make the most of the bin’s vertical design. The food caddy can also be stored in this bottom bin. You will also find a more compact version of this bin that offers a generous 40L capacity, in a neat unit with two 20L compartments and a 3L removable food caddy. The minimal design of the steel body means the Totem will look at home in any modern kitchen. The Totem is available in a choice of finishes across the two sizes: stainless steel and a range of tough powder coated finish colours, including black, graphite and stone. For additional storage options, you could also opt for a three-compartment 36L touch bin. The design of these bins is slightly different as the main body of the bin is shorter, so it is raised on a set of stable legs that give it its distinct cabinet-like look. These shorter models contain 33 litres with three 11L inner compartments. You will also find this shorter design available with two compartments and 34 litres of total capacity. The Bo Hi Touch offers a similar design and features of the bins already mentioned but provides 60 litres of capacity along with the legs that give you a bit of extra height and add to the overall stylish character of the bin. In-cupboard kitchen bins are only continuing to grow in popularity as more people become aware of their benefits, including freeing up floor space, maximising cabinet space and keeping waste out of sight.  If you’re planning on installing an integrated pull-out bin into a 500mm-wide cupboard, you’ve come to the right place. Here, we’ve highlighted some of the best in-cupboard bins suitable for 500mm cabinets, perfect for helping you keep your kitchen super functional and looking great.  The Best In-Cupboard Kitchen Recycling Bins for 500mm-Wide Cabinets  Integrated bins can be retro-fitted into your existing kitchen or incorporated into a new kitchen design.  And if it’s a 500mm cabinet you want to turn into a kitchen bin, there are plenty of products that’ll help you do this. With a range of bins with varying depths, capacities and compartments, you’re sure to find a style suitable for your space.  When seeking the right bin, you’ll also need to consider what kind of door your intended cupboard has: pull-out or hinged? Here, we discuss some of our best pull-out options, but you will also find a great selection of bins for 500mm-wide cabinets with hinged doors.  All of our pull-out bins for 500mm cabinets come with soft close runners for smooth operation, ensuring your kitchen is decked out in the highest-quality products that prioritise function and durability.  What Size Bin Do I Need For My 500mm-Wide Cabinet? Your cupboard’s measurements (the width of the door and the cupboard’s internal depth, width and height) will largely dictate the size of your bin, but there are also some choices to be made in terms of capacity and the number of compartments.  Bins in our section for 500mm pull-out doors need to fit to an internal cabinet width of between 462-468mm – in other words, a 500mm base unit made with 16-19mm material for the carcass sides.  The internal depth (from the front inner edge to the back panel or wall) does vary across cabinet ranges and also across the bin models, so please measure your cabinet and check against the fitted dimensions of each product which you can find on the product page under ‘Specification’. You’ll also find the height of each product here. We recommend going for the largest bin you can accommodate as you’ll have to empty it less frequently. Opting for a bin with more compartments will also help make recycling and sorting rubbish much easier. Our range of 500mm cabinet bins includes options with up to three handy compartments.  Discover some of the best pull-out bins to install into a 500mm cupboard for a premium waste management solution.  Wesco Pull-Out In-Cupboard Kitchen Bins Wesco is a well recognised brand, known for their colourful retro style freestanding bins as well as their expertly designed in-cupboard products.  Wesco’s pull-out bin for 500mm cupboards needs to be fitted with the Blum Tandembox supplied, which has soft-close runners to give you easy access and facilitate smooth opening and closing.  Wesco Pullboy-Z Bins A bin from Wesco’s Pullboy-Z range is the ideal addition to any modern kitchen as it efficiently tucks away rubbish and allows you to easily sort waste. How to Maximise Your Bin Storage

The kitchen has several purposes, often making it the heart or central hub of the household. We cook, clean, socialise, work and store waste here, and because the kitchen caters to so many everyday needs, it must be functional and as easy as possible to keep clean, hygienic and looking great. Functional living is at its best when you can make the most of the space you have, utilising smart storage solutions without compromising on design. One of the most important things to consider in this regard is how you can maximise bin storage. Waste and recycling bins are essential kitchen features, but you don’t necessarily want your rubbish on full display. There are several ways you can store this while keeping it out of sight and ensuring that no corner of your kitchen is being wasted. In-Cupboard Kitchen Bins Integrated kitchen bins are becoming more and more popular. In fact, recent industry research concluded that concealed bins were among the top 10 kitchen features that homeowners couldn’t live without. We also find that many customers want the value that in-cupboard bins can provide so much that they will re-organise their existing cupboard space to free up the room they need for a bin. Expertly-designed in-cupboard bins help you save floor space while keeping waste hidden away. At Binopolis, we stock an extensive range of integrated bins, available for different cupboard sizes and cabinet door types, along with options with various compartments. You’ll also find products for under-sink cupboards and pan drawers, meaning you can find a solution for your space, no matter its layout or style. Integrated bins can be retrofitted into existing kitchen cupboards or planned into new spaces. When designing a new kitchen, try to allocate a large enough cupboard space in the right location to ensure peak functionality. Check out our guide to the best integrated bins for 600mm cabinets for an overview of some of the fantastic products on offer. Storage Shelves for Integrated Bins Integrated bins fit snugly into your cupboard, making the absolute most of the space you have available. To offer an even more practical experience, many of our in-cupboard bin products also come with lids that can act as handy storage shelves. This means you can keep everything in one place, storing bin liners or cleaning products within reach and maximising the entire cupboard. Freestanding Kitchen Bins If you have limited cupboard space, an integrated bin might not be possible, but this does not mean there aren’t plenty of great space-maximising storage solutions to embrace, especially if you have an available bit of floor space or an underused nook. Modern freestanding recycling bins for kitchens come in countless designs, colours and sizes, with slimline and compact models that pack in a perhaps surprising level of capacity. The kind of freestanding bin you choose will likely depend on your floor plan and the amount of waste you produce. Among our freestanding range, you will find some wonderfully stylish bins that can be used as a design feature in their own right, complementing your other appliances and contributing to a cohesive kitchen design. Multiple Recycling Compartments Another way to maximise waste storage is by choosing bins with multiple compartments that allow you to sort recycling with ease. A unit that houses several buckets offers ultimate convenience and keeps all your waste in one area while saving space that might’ve been taken up with a number of separate bins. Both in-cupboard and freestanding bins are available with multiple compartments, providing an ideal solution for any household looking for an efficient way to recycle. Something like the Hailo Euro Cargo 90L recycler with four compartments packs in plenty of storage options and can be discreetly tucked away behind a cabinet door. Alternatively, if a multi-compartment integrated bin isn’t right for you, take a look at our range of multiple-compartment freestanding recycling bins, available in a selection of styles and shapes. Food Waste Bins Within many of our multi-compartment bins, you get a food waste bucket, adding to the convenience of having everything in one place. Again, a dedicated food waste bin makes sorting and recycling easier and can also be more hygienic, with many of the bins coming with filtered lids that help reduce unpleasant odours. Another great way to manage food waste and maximise space is with an inset worktop bin, where the opening sits flush with your countertop, and the bin container sits into the cupboard space below. Consider Kitchen Layout When deciding on the best bin for your space, consider the layout of your kitchen and how you use it. Practicality and functionality will likely be your top consideration – research has shown that 60% of homeowners would prioritise functionality in their next kitchen or redesign, with other high priorities being smarter storage solutions and better overall layout. Choosing the right location for your bin can contribute to the successful execution of all of these considerations. Ensure you locate your bin in the best spot by reading our guide on where to put a bin in a kitchen. Your layout and available space will also largely contribute to the size of bin you choose. We usually recommend opting for the largest bin you can accommodate as this means you won’t have to empty it as frequently. Head over to our buying guide or bin sizes to find out more about what size bin you need. Ultimately, finding a kitchen waste storage solution that’s right for you and your space is essential. Many of our products will help embrace these tips to maximise your storage space. The Best Freestanding Single Compartment Bins

A single compartment freestanding bin is probably one of the first things most people think of when it comes to ‘kitchen bins’. But did you know that single compartment kitchen bins come in countless colours, styles, shapes and sizes? They are not confined to the traditional black or stainless steel bins you may be imagining (although those are certainly still an option too!). We stock an extensive range of single compartment bins to ensure that you can find the right model to suit your kitchen interiors. Not sure where to start? Here, we explore some of the most popular single compartment bins on the market. Freestanding Single Compartment Bins Expertly-designed freestanding bins offer a stylish waste solution, ideal for sleek, modern kitchens. Stylish bins can become a design feature in their own right – you may choose to match your bin’s colour and style with other elements in your space for a cohesive look. However, the extensive range of freestanding bins also means you will find discrete and more compact options too; ideal if you don’t want to draw attention to your waste, but still want a quietly attractive kitchen feature. You’ll also be able to customise your experience by choosing the opening method that suits your space and lifestyle. Whether you prefer a touch, pedal, push or sensor opening mechanism, there are plenty of bins to choose from with these different options. Made by top brands like Brabantia, Wesco and Joseph Joseph, these bins excel in function as well as style. Wesco Single Compartment Freestanding Bins Wesco is a market leader when it comes to kitchen bins, and their range of single compartment freestanding bins offers a great deal in terms of style, colour and function. Wesco Pushboy Single Compartment Kitchen Bin The Wesco Pushboy is perhaps one of their most iconic styles. With the classic retro look and a great selection of vivid colours along with sleek neutrals, this model makes a fantastic addition to any kitchen. The 50 litre bin is incredibly durable and will keep your space looking great and free of waste and the associated odours for years to come. With a polished steel push flap, operation is convenient and accessible. You will also find a more compact version of the standard Pushboy style with the Wesco Pushboy Junior – this has a capacity of 22 litres, which is ideal if you don’t produce much waste. Explore the eye-catching range of colours available in this style! Favourites include: Red Turquoise Almond Lime Green Pink Yellow Wesco Kickboy Single Compartment Pedal Bin If you love the classic Wesco style but prefer a foot pedal opening method, the Wesco Kickboy might just be the perfect model for you. Like the Pushboy, this bin has that iconic retro silhouette but provides a hands-free experience. The 40 litre bin pairs the polished steel lid with a foot pedal with the same finish. The lid flap opens into the bin, maximising efficiency and making it great for tighter spaces. You’ll also find this range in a variety of colours, including striking red, mint and more. Wesco One Boy Single Compartment Kitchen Bin If the rounded shape of the bins mentioned above isn’t right for your space, the Wesco One Boy offers a more geometric silhouette with that same retro flavour. Constructed with premium materials, the powder-coated sheet metal body and stainless steel lid and pedal combine to create a durable and stylish product. This bin has a generous 40 litres of capacity, ideal for the average household. Brabantia Single Compartment Freestanding Bins If you’re after super-stylish bins, you won’t do much better than a Brabantia bin! Brabantia is known for its recognisable designs and high-quality products, bringing personality and efficiency to your kitchen. Brabantia Bo Touch Single Compartment Kitchen Bin The Brabantia Bo Touch bin has a minimal yet stylish design that will look at home in any kitchen interior. Its sleek shape means it can slot anywhere into your space without being obtrusive. The easy-to-clean touch lids open smoothly and quietly, remaining open until you are ready to close it. The 60 litre inner plastic bucket can be easily removed for convenient cleaning and emptying. This design is available in numerous colours, from white to matt black. For a more elevated look, you can opt for the Bo Touch Hi, which has the same look but is sat on four sleek legs. This range also offers 60 litre bins along with a slightly more compact 36 litre version. Brabantia Bo Pedal Single Compartment Kitchen Bin The Brabantia Bo Pedal has similar features as those mentioned above, with the added convenience of providing a hands-free experience. The single compartment bin opens when you lightly touch the foot pedal. The soft-close feature means the lid also closes smoothly and quietly. The body of the bin is durable and easy to wipe clean. Again, you can choose from a range of colours, ensuring you can find the right fit for your space. This model is available with either 36 litres or 60 litres of waste storage. In-Cupboard Single Compartment Bins If you want a single compartment bin, you’ll likely be looking at freestanding options primarily, but did you know that you can get in-cupboard single compartment bins? Integrated bins are a great waste storage solution and are ideal if you want to hide away waste behind a cabinet door or if you want to make use of awkward cupboard space. This efficient use of space is handy if you don’t produce a lot of rubbish or already have a recycling sorting system and need a bin for general waste. Good examples of this option include: Wesco Bio Single Compartment Pull-Out Bin (for cabinets with hinged doors) Gollinucci Single Compartment Waste Bin (for 300mm cabinets with hinged doors) Hailo Cargo Synchro Bin (for 450mm cabinets with pull-out doors) You could put multiple single compartment bins in cupboards with hinged doors that aren’t used to really make the most of wasted space. As in-cupboard bins for hinged doors sit inside a self-contained frame that’s attached to the cabinet floor, you can fit two bins side by side – for example, installing two 300mm width bins into one 600mm cabinet. This is another good way to sort your waste if you produce large quantities of a particular kind of recycling. The Wesco Big Boy is a great option if you want to fit two generous capacity bins into a 600mm wide cabinet. This is just a hint of what our collection of single compartment integrated bins has to offer. Shop our range of in-cupboard kitchen bins for numerous cabinet sizes now to find the perfect product for your space. The Best Kitchen Recycling Bins

There’s a lot that goes into making a home as pleasant and inviting as possible. Have you considered the difference that the perfect bin can make to your home or kitchen? Recycling is hugely important for all of us as we try to make a difference in supporting our planet. With more and more recycling, the number of different bins people need is increasing. Here at Binopolis, we stock a wide selection of 2 and 3 compartment kitchen recycling bins. Our models all come from the biggest and best brands, meaning they not only look great but are made with high-quality materials that will last for years. Below, we’ve listed some of our favourite models, to help you make the best choice for your home. Brabantia Bo Pedal Bin Brabantia has been one of the most popular brands for home bins for many years. Their range is full of sleek and effective designs that compliment any interior. One of Brabantia’s most popular models is the Brabantia Bo, a design that perfectly balances style and functionality. The rounded design with steel body looks elegant but with a stylish, retro twist. Just as importantly, it maximises capacity on the inside, with two or three-compartment versions available. The Brabantia Bo comes in a selection of styles. The Bo Touch and Bo Pedal offer different opening methods to suit you, while the Bo Hi comes with stylish legs which offer a bit of extra height and easier access. Brabantia Touch Bin Brabantia also offer a more traditional option with their Touch range of stainless steel kitchen bins. These versatile designs look great in any kitchen and come with quick and easy touch-opening lids. We have various capacities available, each offering something slightly different. Two of our most popular are the 60-litre Brabantia Bo Touch, which comes with two equal-sized compartments, and a smaller 34-litre version which stands on its own legs. Wesco Big Double Bin Another hugely popular brand on our site is Wesco. With a history dating back to 1867, they’re instantly noticeable for their eye-catching, retro-inspired designs, especially when it comes to freestanding bins. One of our most popular recycling bins is the Wesco Big Double Master. This compact design comes with a generous 40-litre capacity, split across two compartments. You could have one for waste and another for recycling, or use it to split your plastics and paper. The Wesco Big Double Master has a stainless steel build including a butterfly lid that drastically reduces the open height of the bin. The butterfly lid, combined with a front pedal and back-fitted wheels make this bin perfect for storing waste under counters. This model is available in multiple colours, but our most popular is the black version, which looks incredibly stylish with the red Wesco logo featuring on the front of the design. Joseph Joseph Totem 60L One of our favourite UK-based brands, Joseph Joseph, offer a fantastic selection of contemporary and minimalist designs that look great in any modern kitchen. Their sleek designs always have functionality at their heart, creating bins that not only look good but are incredibly functional, perfect for everyday convenience. If you don’t have much floor space in your kitchen but want or need a freestanding bin, the Totem by Joseph Joseph might be the perfect model for you. Despite not taking up more floor space than a regular bin, this model comes with two sizeable 30-litre buckets, one sitting on top of the other. As the Totem is designed to use vertical space, it’s extra height means that the top bucket sits nicely alongside your counters and is easily accessed whenever you’re cooking or cleaning. The Totem comes with a small food waste caddy that sits in the top bucket. This means that the Totem could be enough for all your waste and recycling needs on its own, keeping your waste organised in one place. This bin also comes with wheels on the bottom bucket for easy removal, a convenient touch lid for the top bucket, and built-in odour control through a charcoal filter. It’s a fantastic and convenient choice for family kitchens. Integrated Kitchen Recycling Bins Of course, when it comes to your recycling, you’re not limited to freestanding bins. Here at Binopolis, we offer a huge selection of in-cupboard kitchen bins with multiple compartments. Whether you want to turn a base cupboard or a pull-out drawer into a bin or find a simple option for your recycling, see below some of our most popular models. Hafele Recycling Bin If you want to maximise your cupboard space, the two-compartment recycling bin by Hafele is a great choice. This simple, functional design fits into cupboards with hinged doors by screwing into the cabinet’s base, and comes with a steel lid that can serve as storage for bin liners and other items. Ninka One2Five Recycling Bin If you are looking to turn a cupboard with a pull-out door into storage for your recycling, one of our most popular ranges is the Ninka One2Five. These bins are available for cabinets from 400mm upwards, but our best seller is the model for 600mm cabinets which comes with two generous, robust 42 litre compartments that maximise your cabinet space and is completed with strong soft-close runners that give this bin a luxury feel. Wesco Shorty Waste Bin Another option you might want to consider for your recycling is an under sink bin. These smaller in-cupboard models are perfect for fitting into otherwise unused space, providing a neat solution for your recycling. Please check the space you have around pipework and any other fixed elements – the dimensions of all models can be found under the Specification on each product page. The Wesco Shorty waste bin offers a compact solution for under-sink cupboards. This model comes with two 15-litre bins and a plastic lid that can be used to store liners. It’s a great solution for food waste alongside something like packaging. Which Bin is Right for Me? Many of Brabantia’s products are ‘cradle-to-cradle’ certified - this means they are responsibly made and contribute to a circular economy of recycled and reused goods. So, if you’re looking for the perfect Brabantia bin for your home or kitchen, discover some of our favourites below. Brabantia Bo By far our most popular range is the Brabantia Bo, and it’s easy to see why. These incredibly stylish kitchen bins have a wonderful rounded form that blends both traditional and contemporary styles. It’s also available in multiple colours to suit your space. The best thing about the Brabantia Bo is its versatility; there are so many different sizes and styles available that you’re bound to find the perfect product for your space. Brabantia Bo Touch Bins If you’re looking for a stylish kitchen bin to sit alongside your counters, the Brabantia Bo Touch is a fantastic choice. The compact design maximises capacity while also looking great; the flat back is designed so it can sit cleanly at the end of your cupboards or work surface. The steel body is not only beautiful to look at but easy to clean, while the plastic lid opens quietly with just a light touch, making it a joy to use. The Bo also comes with grips on both sides that make it easy to move. We offer many variations of the Bo Touch. Most of our models are available with a 60-litre capacity, which is a great size for a family kitchen. We also have models with one or two compartments, which can help when separating waste and recycling. Brabantia Bo Pedal Bins Alongside the Touch range, Brabantia also offer pedal kitchen bins in the same style. The Bo Pedal range has the same style and build but replaces the plastic touch lid with a sleek steel lid in the same colour as the body. Beyond the style differences, some customers prefer pedal bins because they are easier to use regularly. You don’t need to bend down to press the lid open, simply put your foot on the pedal and it’ll open. The Bo Pedal is available in a smaller 33-litre capacity; at 44 centimetres tall, it can be confidently placed in small kitchens without taking up too much room. We also offer the 60-litre version in various colours. Brabantia Bo Touch Hi Bins Making your bin as easy to use as possible is important. As a result, Brabantia offer their Bo Touch range with legs for increased height and easier access. The Bo Touch Hi adds to the style of the Bo range with elegant legs, elevating the bin and making it appear like an extension of your kitchen workspace. A higher bin makes cleaning up kitchen waste easier than ever. The unique styling of the Bo Hi creates the impression that the Bo is less like a bin and more like a piece of furniture – perhaps like a cabinet on legs. This means it can blend into a home office, hobby area or bathroom just as successfully as in the kitchen. Bo Touch Hi models are available in a range of capacities, from smaller 33-litre models to the regular 60-litre design. This product is also available in a wide range of colours, so you can pick the perfect style to accompany your kitchen. Brabantia Recycling Bins Recycling is a huge part of our daily lives, and it’s important that we split our waste to make sure as much can be recycled as possible. If you’re looking for the perfect bin for your kitchen, you should definitely consider those with multiple compartments. Having your recycling in one place can make managing your waste a little bit easier. We offer a fantastic Brabantia steel recycling bin that looks great in any kitchen. This traditional exterior comes with a modern two-compartment layout on the inside; the two buckets offering plenty of space for your waste and recycling. This model is available as both a touch and pedal bin, with the pedal offering a 40-litre capacity split evenly and the touch providing a smaller bucket alongside the main one for food waste. Brabantia Kitchen Bins Of course, if you are simply looking for a traditional kitchen bin, Brabantia has you covered. We stock a wide selection of Brabantia kitchen bins with one compartment, perfect for a wide range of uses for both homes and businesses. Brabantia have a huge range of stainless steel bins which look great and are built to last for many years. If you only need a small bin for uses such as food waste, check out the rectangular Brabantia bin. This model can sit on the floor or can be mounted onto a wall with the bracket supplied. What Bin is Right for Me? With so many options to choose from, we understand if you’re a little unsure of what bin you need. The Best Integrated Kitchen Bins for 300mm-Wide Cabinets

Adding an integrated bin to your kitchen is a great choice. Not only does it allow you to keep your rubbish out of sight, but it’s also highly functional, making the most of your cupboard space. When choosing an in-cupboard kitchen bin, it’s essential that you get the right measurements for your space. We have a wide range of models available for a selection of cupboards. You also need to differentiate between bins for cabinets with hinged doors (self-contained units fixed to the cabinet floor) and pull-out doors (fixed to the cupboard door and sides). For a family kitchen, we often recommend our bins for 600mm cupboards, as these offer more space and won’t need to be emptied as often. However, if you’re a smaller household or just want to make the most of your space, these 300mm in-cupboard bins are a great choice. Wesco Big Boy Wesco is amongst the most popular brands on the market, their products known for their excellent quality and slightly retro style, and the Big Boy is one of their most in-demand models. The Wesco Big Boy offers a perfect balance between style and functionality. Designed for cabinets with hinged doors, it’s a beautifully simple unit that uses ball bearing runners to slide in and out easily. Like many of our models for hinged door cabinets, this unit comes fully assembled, ready to be simply fixed to the cabinet floor through the ‘legs’ of the steel frame. This style of product is a self-contained unit (not fixed to the cabinet sides) which means it can be fitted into larger cabinets, too, perhaps fixed toward one side so you can use the rest of the cabinet for other storage. As another example of the flexibility in positioning this style of bin, it can be possible to fit two of these bins for 300mm cabinets into one 600mm hinged door cabinet: fitting two of these Big Boy 40L bins side by side creates a really generous 80-litre recycling station. These bins are also designed with a sturdy lid that sits on top of the frame, making it a useful shelf for liners and other products. This bin is a single-compartment unit with a 40L capacity, which is high for bins in this category. While it doesn’t have multiple compartments for recycling, the single-compartment design is super easy to empty, making it a great general waste bin. Wesco Big Bio Double If you want a solution to separate out general waste and recycling, you might want to consider a two-compartment kitchen bin. The Wesco Big Bio Double is a model designed for a similar space to the Big Boy but with two compartments instead of one. The Big Bio Double is one of our most popular multi-compartment bins for 300mm cupboards. This bin comes with a total capacity of 36L; the main 26L bin sits alongside a separate 10L bin that’s perfect for your recycling. As with the Big Boy above, this model is designed for hinged doors and comes with smooth running for easy access, alongside a lid that can double as shelving for bin liners. Wesco Bio Single Another great option from Wesco is the Bio Single. This model is a single-compartment bin with a capacity of 32L, which is slightly lower than the Big Boy but is perfect for storing your recycling. The Bio Single bins have the shortest depth of all hinged door models, measuring 330mm front-to-back, so they can potentially fit some tricky spaces such as in front of or beside sink pipework: always check the product dimensions against your available space. If you have spare space in your kitchen cupboards, the Bio Single can make for a perfect recycling solution. These models are also self-contained units fixed only to the cupboard floor, meaning they can be fitted into larger cabinets and allow space for other stuff alongside. As with other models, the Bio Single has full extension ball bearing runners, making it easy to pull out the bin when needed. This model has a height of 570mm and comes with a lid for storing light items such as liners. If you have less height inside the cupboard, for example below a drawer, there’s also a smaller 26L option which is 470mm high. Gollinucci Linea 580 If you have a cupboard with a pull-out door, the Gollinucci Linea 580 is one of the best models on the market. Based in Italy, Gollinucci is known for its simple but stylish designs that provide a modern touch to any kitchen. The Linea 580 is a fantastic single-compartment bin for pull-out cupboards. It comes with a sizeable 40L container complete with a removable lid that fits on top and super convenient carry handles. This model is also available with an additional cabinet-wide shelf to fix just above the bin, great for extra storage and creating an extra barrier against odours: perfect for dining or open-plan kitchens. For added luxury, the Grass soft-close runners ensure smooth and easy use. It’s worth noting that this bin requires a minimum internal depth of 502mm. Be sure to check the measurements of your cupboard against those required on our product pages before making any purchases. Vauth Sagel ES Pro If you want another pull-out cupboard option to consider, we recommend the ES-Pro by Vauth-Sagel. Made in Germany, Vauth-Sagel’s bins are known for their excellent functionality and reliability. This model has a main 32L bin and an additional 1.2L container which you can use for storing cleaning items or liners. The ES-Pro comes with stylish steel side panels and incredibly reliable steel soft-close runners for a luxury feel. This bin also comes with a separate steel lid which is fixed to the inside of the cupboard, doubling as an additional storage shelf and acting as an effective baffle against odours. Note that this model requires a minimum internal height of 570mm and a depth of 480mm. This bin is also available in both grey and silver, depending on your style. Need Some Advice? Where Should I Put My Kitchen Bin?

When you’re designing your dream kitchen space, there’s so much to consider. You’ll want plenty of space to prepare delicious meals, good lighting to spend quality time with family and friends, and a beautiful decor that fills you with joy every day. It takes a lot of planning to create a perfect kitchen, and your waste is something that shouldn’t be left until last. It is, after all, one of the most frequently used kitchen items, more so than the oven, cooker or wine fridge! Where you place your kitchen bin will ultimately have a significant impact on the final look and feel of your space. Choosing the right bin will also make it much easier to keep your kitchen clean and hygienic. So, what’s the perfect kitchen bin for your space? Take a look at our guide below! Understand Your Kitchen’s Layout The first step to finding the perfect waste solution is understanding your kitchen’s layout. After all, your bins need to be stylish and functional. A well-planned kitchen can often be divided into three key parts: Preparation - clear sides where you can prepare food or do things like homework. Cooking - Your cooking appliances and surfaces. Cleaning - Where food and other waste can be cleaned and disposed of. It’s recommended that you try to keep these sections separated, but also within easy reach. If you’re peeling vegetables, for example, you want a compost bin nearby so you can throw them away quickly and easily. By understanding your ideal layout, you’ll be able to know with more detail not only what bin you need, but what sizes and styles you should consider. Bins for Small Kitchens A large kitchen provides plenty of opportunities for different styles and designs. However, if you’re working with a smaller kitchen, your primary focus will probably be saving space. If you are designing a small kitchen, in-cupboard kitchen bins can be especially useful. Integrated kitchen bins are not only convenient and stylish, but they also allow your floor to be kept free. In-cupboard kitchen bins can be useful for any size of space. However, if you have a small kitchen, we would definitely recommend considering these. Where to Put Recycling Bins in Kitchen Everybody knows how important recycling is nowadays. However, it’s increasingly becoming a necessity for people to separate their waste and recycling in the kitchen before emptying it into the outside bins for collection. Many people still use separate bins for general waste and recycling. However, you can make your life more convenient and organised by using a two, three or four-compartment recycling bin. As mentioned above, having all your waste in one space not only makes it easier for you but also helps keep your kitchen hygienic. Multi-compartment waste bins offer a stylish solution, available both as standalone or integrated. Where to Put Your Food Compost Bin Food waste is another area that is becoming increasingly important, particularly in the kitchen. Your food waste needs to be stored effectively to keep your kitchen clean and looking great. Many people still use a separate small compost bin, but you can also use one of the compartments from a two, three or four-compartment recycling bin to keep all your waste together. This option is particularly good for small kitchens as it avoids you having to use multiple bins which take up your precious space. If you have a bit more worktop space, you might want to consider a built-in food waste bin. These bins are built into the worktop and covered by a tight lid that stops any odours from coming through. A worktop food waste bin allows you to quickly and effortlessly dispose of waste while preparing food, making it perfect for busy households. There are so many great options when it comes to kitchen bins. Whether you have a large, contemporary space or a small, retro kitchen, you don’t need to compromise on your bin! Take a look at our specialist range today and discover the perfect one for your home.

Introducing Tecnoinox pull-out In-cupboard Kitchen Bins: Superb Italian Styling & Craftsmanship

We only sell top quality products and our in-cupboard bins from manufacturers such as Vauth-Sagel, Ninka and Hailo are all expertly engineered using the best materials to give you fantastic and long-lasting functionality. Our latest addition to our in-cupboard range continues our quest for the best and we are delighted to bring you Tecnoinox, the ultimate in built-in bins. Why are Tecnoinox bins so special? Firstly, they are manufactured in Italy and are closely related to a range of top-end professional kitchen equipment, used by the best restaurants and chefs. This relationship to sleek steel and aluminium chef’s kitchens informs the design of the Tecnoinox bins, which are unique in featuring inner bin containers made from aluminium for durability and structural stability in use.  Using aluminium for the inner containers also allows the creation of the largest capacity single compartment in any in-cupboard bin that we know. This is a huge 72 litres and the bin itself is precision made with double walled construction, a smart dark grey coating, rounded external corners for safety plus a pair of metal handles. The second unique feature of the Tecnoinox bins, and one which provides a solution to an issue we are often asked about, is the patented aluminium lid design. The lid is unique in that it moves. More specifically it lifts up (from a rear pivot) when the cabinet door is opened, but even more importantly it closes down onto the top of the bin when the door is closed. There is a rubber-like layer on the underside of the lid and when this rests onto the top of the bin unit it forms a light but effective seal to close the bin contents off and to control odours. This unique feature will help to provide a solution for controlling odours which can be particularly important in open plan areas or kitchens which also contain the dining table. This includes many of our customers who live in city apartments but of course anyone who wants this feature will be pleased to have found it. The huge 72 litre single compartment bin is for a 600mm cabinet and double and triple compartment versions are also available for this cabinet size, again with aluminium bin containers and the aluminium closing lids. There is also a model to fit cabinets with a 450mm door, with one large 55 litre container. In addition to the 72L single compartment bin bin for a 600mm cabinet there is a 70 Litre 2-compartment model and two 3-compartment bins with 89 Litres and 108 Litres capacity respectively.  The Tecnoinox bins are designed so that the bin containers stand in a soft-close drawer. We are supplying the bins complete with a top quality Blum Legrabox drawer with Orion Grey sides: the perfect compliment to the Tecnoinox bin unit. Your door is attached to the bin unit in two places for extra stability: once to the drawer at the base of the door, and also at the mid-height with two metal supports to brace between the bin structure and the door. Tecnoinox have been developing premium quality steel and aluminium professional kitchen equipment for 40 years. The bins are designed and assembled in their own factories in Northern Italy. Tecnoinox say “Materials are our obsession, we choose carefully, we test, we experiment, and we work with the utmost attention and passion”. This obsession with design, materials and build quality means that their models are the ultimate in premium quality integrated bins, whether you have a professional kitchen, busy office or simply want the best for your home kitchen particularly to include the odour-controlling lid feature and the extra large and durable aluminium containers. If you have any queries about the Tecnoinox bins, just give us a call or drop us an email. To see the bins please click here

We’re excited to launch the brand new kitchen bins from Brabantia, which bring you the mould-breaking Bo design now in large capacity plus-size bins: both 60L single and 2 x 30L recycling bin models. So now you can have the beautiful minimal Bo styling with plenty more practical recycling and waste capacity. The pared-back fuss-free styling and gently rounded corners give the bins an unobtrusive look which will work in both contemporary and classic interiors, and in the kitchen, bathroom or office. They really do look more like a subtly designed piece of furniture than a bin. The Bo Hi bins with legs are available in four finishes: Fingerprint proof Matt Steel, Matt Black, White and Concrete which is a subtly textured ‘mineral’ finish. The Bo Touch Bins with a flat base are available in Platinum Grey, Matt Black, Soft Beige, White and Fingerprint Proof Matt Steel. A Mineral Concrete Grey finish is also available, which Brabantia call their ‘Sense of Luxury’ finishes.   The new Bo Hi Touch and Bo Touch large kitchen bins prove that a big bin can be a great addition to your home, and that practical can also be beautiful. “A bin as successful as our Bo Touch Bin deserves a big brother” say Brabantia “Now bigger households can enjoy this space efficient design too.” Every Bo kitchen bin is made from 40% high-grade recycled materials and is Cradle-to-Cradle® Certified to Bronze level, which means they meet strict requirements for (re)use of materials, renewable energy, water stewardship, and social fairness. The primary aim of Cradle to Cradle® design is to eliminate the concept of waste, and encourage products to be developed for closed-loop systems. On top of that, sales of these Bo Touch Bins support The Ocean Cleanup to help rid the world’s oceans of plastic.  So organising your recycling and waste beautifully is now possible even if you have large amounts to sort and store. You can help contribute to reducing landfill and plastic pollution by separating out your recyclables for effective processing, and responsibly disposing of waste.  It is our aim at Binopolis to bring you products to help you declutter and organise your recycling and without compromising your style, and that’s why we love Brabantia’s stylish, well made bins which are designed to last with spare parts available and which can in time be recycled: that’s ‘Designed for Living’. New, exceptionally smooth soft-close runners make the Cargo Synchro range the latest addition to the Hailo Synchro Range of in-cupboard bins, with the premium design and build quality our customers love. While five of the models are designed to potentially fit under sinks, two other new models are taller but bring large capacity single compartments into your choice of options. Here is the new the Hailo Synchro range explained. New single compartment, 55 litre extra large pull-out bin Our selection of Cargo Synchro bins includes a brand new and very useful configuration: a single extra large 55 litre inner container, with a fitted height of 544mm, for cabinets with an external width of 450mm; internal width 412-418mm. This huge capacity in a single inner bin has been asked for by our customers for years and we are pleased to bring it to you. Two fitted in two 450mm cabinets would get storage of recycling and waste for a large family sorted. Hailo Cargo Synchro Single Compartment 55L Bin. The second single compartment CArgo Synchro model has one inner bin of 30 litre capacity, for cabinets with an external width of 300mm (internal width 262-268mm). New range for under sinks or drawers The other five Cargo Synchro bins in our range are designed with sink units in mind, with an installed height of 424mm and an installed depth of just 405mm. The bins are available from 450 to 600 mm cabinets (measured across the door) with a side wall thickness of 16 to 19 mm: the fitting is self-adjusting. Of course all sink installations are different, but if you have a minimum of 424mm height under your sink and pipework you should be able to fit these models. If you can specify the sink plumbing early enough in your fit-out, asking your plumber to position the U Bend toward the back of the cabinet will also make it more possible to fit these 405mm deep bins, because they are designed with the potential to fit in front of pipework as well as below it. The five 424mm high, 405mm deep models in the range are: 450mm cabinet:  Hailo Cargo Synchro 2 Compartment 36L Recycler - two 18 Litre compartments. 500mm cabinet: Hailo Cargo Synchro 2 Compartment 46L Recycler - one 28 Litre and one 18 Litre compartment  Hailo Cargo Synchro 3 Compartment 44L Recycler - one 18 Litre and two 13 Litre compartments (one with a lid - ideal for food waste) 600mm cabinet: Hailo Cargo Synchro 2 Compartment 56L Recycler - two 28 Litre compartments Hailo Cargo Synchro 3 Compartment 54L Recycler - one 28 Litre and two 13 Litre compartments (one with a lid - ideal for food waste Smart design, plus extra storage on the lid All metal and plastic parts are slate grey, matched to give a sleek overall look. The cabinet-wide lid is topped by an anti-slip rubber mat, and as the lid slides out independently of the bins it can be pulled out for easy access to liners, cleaning materials and other items you may want to store on top. Easy and quick to fit The side wall installation is extremely easy and is clearly set out on the fitting instructions supplied, which are also a scale template giving drilling positions for the fixings.  As the frame components are bayonet mounted and the entire system can easily be detached from the runners, it is particularly quick to install and remove.  And finally, the Cargo Synchro range not only gives you a sleek, convenient receptacle for your recycling, it’s also durable. Like all Hailo systems, the innovation was subjected to the standard "100,000 times in-and-out" test, with a full load and the door attached.
